Plan•Decide•Inspect•Take Actions! BEWG Holds Mid-year Working Meeting for 2021 2021-08-02

In order to further improve the efficiency of the Group, enhance the level of safety management, clarify the work objective and direction for the second half of the year, and effectively promote the effective implementation of various work tasks, on August 2, BEWG held a mid-year working meeting for 2021 in Beijing. With the theme of “Planning, Deciding, Inspecting and Taking action”, the meeting reported and deployed around four aspects: development concept, system design, management practice and leadership guidance.

Li Yongcheng, Vice Chairman and Executive Deputy General Manager of BEWG, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BEWG, Jiang Xinhao, Vice General Manager of Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited , Executive Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, Executive Director of BEWG, Xiong bin, Assistant to the General Manager of Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, leaders of BEWG and persons in charge of various units attended the meeting.

In order to implement the requirements of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures, the meeting set up a main venue, five offline branch venues of the headquarters, 20 online branch venues outside Beijing, and access through the soft end of DingTalk, etc., more than 300 participants attended the meeting.

Zhou Min, President of BEWG, delivered a keynote speech on “customer orientation--operation and organization management consensus”. He pointed out that the basic cognition of customer orientation is the underlying logic and management consensus of the operation and organization of BEWG. Starting with customer needs and ending with meeting customer needs, everything starts from customers, which is the original point of BEWG to create value. In the work, we must adhere to the basic idea of “customer orientation", take whether to "create value for customers" as the standard for measuring the work, and continue to build a customer orientation organization, so as to achieve the second growth of the enterprise and truly realize “clear water and evergreen industry”.

On how to achieve "customer orientation", Zhou Min stressed the need to make three major changes in cognition, business and organization, and make an in-depth interpretation from five aspects: thinking about the source, searching for the source, tracing to the source, opening up the source and expanding the source. Meanwhile, he pointed out that focusing on the transformation of cognition-business-organization, four aspects of the work need strengthened on customer orientation in the future: market investment, operational excellence, product delivery and human resources.

Yu Liguo, the Rotating CEO of BEWG, made a keynote speech on “Planning before action, gain after knowing when to stop -- the focus and objectives of the Group's operation work”, and put forward a group of indicators, two major development tasks and three key tasks. He pointed out that on the basis of customer orientation, maximizing business benefit focuses on resources and efficiency. Meanwhile, customer orientation should stand in an overall perspective, systematically promote the implementation of reform tasks and solve the key problems in stock operation and incremental developmen, to this end, he proposed two major tasks: first, promoting the implementation of regional programme with customer orientation; Second, changing the market investment system to drive the future development of the Group. Finally, Yu Liguo stressed that three key tasks should be focused on the operation level of the Group, which are strengthening payment collection, tackling areas of weakness and focusing on implementation.

The annual work meeting of 2021 proposed that BEWG will firmly grasp the general principle of “strategic guidance, customer orientation, deepening reform and making progress through several lines”. The mid-year meeting further clarified the connotation and path of strategic guidance, customer orientation, deepening reform and several lines of vision.

The Enterprise Management Center and the Market Investment Center respectively reported on the medium-term operation fundamentals of the Group, the completion of investment for the first half-year and the investment strategy for the second half-year in 2021. The Audit Center and Risk Control Center respectively made special report on the work of the first half of the year.

This year, in order to better promote the implementation of asset-light transformation, the Group carried out organizational system reform, the Western Region, the Product Center, BEWG Research Institute, the Project Delivery Center, the Asset Management Center and the Digital Innovation Center gave an in-depth analysis of “who I am” and systematically explained the thoughts and specific measures of reform on the five themes: reform, transformation, reinvention, new regulations and formation.

Li Li, Executive President of BEWG, pointed out in his summary that in recent years, the mid-year meeting and annual meeting of BEWG have been continuously upgraded, which reflects the changes and progress of the Group. He said that the enterprise transformation and transformation development concept of  customer orientation, customer focus and transformation development will bring profound changes to the new development stage of BEWG. BEWG will center on creating value for customers, helping customers succeed and upgrading the industry, meanwhile, adhere to the secondary growth of enterprise as the direction of development, and the transformation and upgrading as the focus of development.

In terms of human resources, Li Li said that the development of BEWG in the next ten years will have to solve the problem of “people” well. Externally, BEWG takes customers as the center and customers as the orientation; Internally, we should put the striver first, and take creation as approach.

Xiong Bin said that in recent years, BEWG has constantly collided ideas and grasped the laws of the industry through strategy seminars, technology and innovation seminars and management experience exchange, so as to achieve the consensus of planning, deciding, inspecting and taking actions and effectively guide the development of the enterprise. Looking forward to the future, he proposed to adhere to customer orientation, lead the development of the organization by meeting the needs of customers in an all-round way, and achieve sustainable development by creating value for customers. Meanwhile, we should uphold the long-standing cultural construction, pay attention to talent training, reshape organizational vitality, and further enhance the competitiveness and combat power of enterprises. Adhere to the dual platform strategy, ecological strategy, innovation strategy and digital strategy, continue to reform and innovate, lead the development, and make every effort to achieve the transformation and development of enterprises.

Jiang Xinhao pointed out that among the subordinate enterprises of BEWG, BEWG has taken the lead in thinking about strategic transformation. In the new era, new situation and new development, new requirements and new challenges have been put forward for the management of enterprises. Finally, he stressed that as the epidemic was at a critical time, we should continue effective routine Covid-19 control, take sufficient prevention and control measures, and safeguard the safety and health of personnel.
