In 2018, BEWG acquired Trilty, one of the three largest private water companies in the Australian water market. The company serves all over Australia and New Zealand, serving customers in the municipal, resource and industrial sectors. By producing high quality fresh water by ultraviolet disinfection using a double membrane process of microfiltration and reverse osmosis, the 2nd Changi NEWater Plant in Singapore is one of the two largest new water plants in Singapore, and the new water production accounts for more than 30% of Singapore's new water.
