Deepen industry-university-research cooperation! The talent cooperation between BEWG and Minzu University of China was officially signed 2021-10-12
On October 10, the signing and opening ceremony of the talent cooperation agreement between BEWG and Minzu University of China was successfully held at Minzu University of China. According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will share the common values and mission, carry out all-round cooperation in industry university research exploration, scientific research cooperation, discipline construction, mutual exchange mechanism of university-enterprise visits, and work together to make contributions to industry talent training, scientific and technological innovation, and achievement transformation.
Mao Jianhua, Vice President of BEWG, Xue Xiaofei, Executive Vice president of BEWG Research Institute, Song Min, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Minzu University of China, Bai Yong, Director of the Domestic Cooperation Department, Zhang Jiwei, Deputy Director of Recruit students Employment, Zhou Yijun, President of College of Life and Environmental Sciences, Zhang Yan, Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Life and Environmental Sciences, and relevant teachers of the college attended the signing ceremony.
Before the signing ceremony, the two sides had a discussion and exchange. Zhou Yijun expressed a warm welcome to the delegation of BEWG, and talked about the origin and basis of this cooperation. She said that this summer, the two sides jointly carried out the training for 67 fresh graduates of the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, and the comprehensive quality of the students participating in the training was highly recognized by the centers of BEWG. On September 30, BEWG Research Institute and seven young teachers from the College of Life and Environmental Sciences had in-depth technical exchanges. The two sides have a high degree of agreement from the concept of science and technology, the concept of cooperation, to the needs for technical cooperation. It is believed that the two sides will have a good output in the future in talent training and all-round cooperation between industry, university and research.
Song Min delivered a speech at the signing ceremony and introduced the historical development and political positioning of Minzu University of China. She said that the construction and development of the university has been concerned and valued successive leaders of the Party and the State, which has not only made great contributions to the training of minority talents in China, but also showed the world the unity and integration of China's multi-ethnic groups. She stressed that the all-round and multi field cooperation with BEWG is at the right time, and hoped to take this opportunity to jointly promote the technological breakthrough and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and promote the talent training and development of both sides.
Mao Jianhua introduced the development history and current strategic transformation of BEWG. After a series of reforms such as organizational structure and resource allocation, BEWG has continuously clarified the strategic path of transformation from an "investment-oriented enterprise" to a "technology-oriented enterprise" - that is, to provide high-quality and high-value public services for society with customers-orientation, innovation-guidance, and products and solutions as the support. He stressed that the cooperation with "Double First-Class" universities should be oriented to the forefront of science and technology, the main battlefield of economy, the major needs of the country, and people's life and health. Through the co-construction platform, the scientific and technological development of universities should really move towards the front line, effectively solve the technical bottleneck of enterprise development, break the blockage of scientific research transformation of colleges and universities, and solve the practical problems of the last mile. Mao Jianhua pointed out that the two sides can jointly build a demonstration base for Rural Revitalization in ethnic areas and make contributions to the innovation of township governance mode and the economic development of ethnic areas.
In the future, the two sides will take "writing papers on the land of the motherland and applying scientific and technological achievements in the great cause of realizing national modernization" as their common career feelings, take "pragmatic, professional and long-term" as the guidance, combine scientific research of colleges and universities with R & D and application of enterprises to create "industry university research" and "talent training" double bases, and constantly create social value, transform economic value, enlarge cultural values and jointly build a national ecological security barrier.
