The First Congress of the Communist Youth League of BEWG was Successfully Held 2019-04-26

2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. The new era has opened a new journey, and calls for new actions. On the afternoon of April 26, the first Congress of the Communist Youth League of Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (BEWG) was held in Beijing. Zhou Min, President of BEWG, Li Li, Executive Director of BEWG, Jin Feng, Vice President of Beijing Enterprises and Secretary of the Party Committee of BEWG, Yang Guang, senior Vice President of BEWG, Li Ai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of Party committee of BEWG, and Zhang Xingqiang, Secretary of Youth League committee of Beijing Enterprises, etc. attended the Congress.

Li Ai made an opening speech at the opening session, pointed that the convening of the first Congress of the Communist Youth League of BEWG was of great significance to bringing together youthful strength and carrying forward the spirit of struggle. Li hopes the upcoming new Youth League Committee will play a greater role in resource integration and training of young talents, and will lead the majority of the members to promote and explore the Group's innovation and development.

Wang Jiale, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union of BEWG, delivered a speech on behalf of the Group's Labor Union. She said that the Communist Youth League and the Labor Union, as the bridge and ties of the Party's close contact with the masses, would support and cooperate closely with each other to make a greater contribution to the high-quality development of BEWG.

Zhao Zhen, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of BEWG, made a work report titled "Stay true to the original self, encourage pursuing the dream and bearing the responsibility - to contribute to the high-quality development of BEWG". In this report, she highly summarized and concluded the achievements of the establishment of the BEWG in the past eight years, carefully analyzed the situation and requirements for work development of the Group's Communist Youth League, and put forward the goals and main tasks of the Group's Communist Youth League in the next five years, i.e. "Adhere to one subject, implement three services, and complete five major tasks", striving to comprehensively promote the high-quality development of BEWG.

In this report, she called for, as the new force of BEWG, the youth of the Group should take the responsibility and mission as their own responsibility, take the responsibility and mission as their responsibility in a spirit of never slackening and a brave stance, stand on a new starting point and keep the new mission in mind, to burn passion and contribute to the process of promoting the high-quality development of the Group.
