We at BEWG always remember our responsibilities as a member of the society to the community and people where we operate. Based on the core advantages and resources of the water sector, we actively fulfill our responsibilities as a social citizen and promote the harmonious development of the community by popularization of environmental protection knowledge, industrial poverty alleviation, community investment etc.


In 2018, we successively invested in the construction of six environmental protection projects in poor districts and counties in Shaanxi, Tibet and Yunnan with a total investment of over 720 million yuan, covering such fields as water supply, sewage treatment, waste removal, and ecological restoration to serve a total of over 417,000 people.

Hainan Business Area of BEWG Conducting the World Water Day Publicity Activity

On March 22, 2018, the 26th World Water Day and the first day of the 31st China Water Week, the Hainan Branch of BEWG co-operated with Haikou Municipal Water Bureau to carry out a publicity activity in Wanlv Park of Haikou, aiming at guiding the public to cultivate the habit of saving water, loving water, and using water reasonably, so that more people will become disseminators, practitioners and demonstrators of saving water and protecting the water environment.

The Northern Region Organizing a Donation Activity entitled “Commitment to Public Welfare: Your Care, Their Future”

In 2018, the northern region of BEWG Group organized a donation activity entitled “Commitment to Public Welfare: Your Care, Their Future”. The units and employees in the region responded positively to the activity, donating more than 200 books, more than 300 clothes, and more than 40 electronic products and stationeries. In August 2018, our Comprehensive Management Department made a special trip on behalf of the northern region to the China Charities Aid Foundation for Children for the on-site donation to the children in the Foundation's Children Development Project.

Qinhuangdao Company of BEWG Visiting Villagers of Shanghe Village

In November 2018, nearly 20 assisting cadres from Qinhuangdao Company of the group went to Shanghe Village, Zushan Town of Qinglong County to visit 30 poor families pairing with the company. The assisting representatives asked in detail about the physical condition of the elderly in poor households since the beginning of the winter, the sealing and warm-keeping conditions of the houses, and the solutions to the heating problems in winter, and listened to and collected the ideas and suggestions of the recipients. They recorded good opinions and suggestions in a timely manner and report them to the resident working group to help improve the living conditions of the villagers.

Guigang BEWG Company Solving Water Use Problems of Community Residents

In 2018, Guigang BEWG Company actively invested funds, conducted in-depth investigations, and adopted effective measures to solve the domestic water supply problem for community residents, including addressing the low water pressure problem in some areas in Guigang Old Town and eliminating the water supply difficulties for Nanping community and several households enjoying the five guarantees in Guigang.

The ability of an enterprise is based on the ability of its staff. In 2018, in order to build a learning organization, we strengthened the development and innovation of training contents, created tailor-made trainings for various talent, promoted the use of online learning platform E-university, and tried our best to meet our staff's ability needs for their own career development.

NEW POWER Management Trainee Training

In October 2018, the headquarters of the group organized a tailor-made induction training for management trainees graduating in 2018. Apart from covering courses on team building, business etiquette, cultural publicity, speech skills etc., the training also incorporated practical learning contents such as visiting water plants to enhance the sense of belonging of the management trainees and improve their professionalism and sense of mission. At the end of the training, the management trainees reviewed the training process through planning, preparation, and drilling. They also shared their gains from the training through poem recitation and exchange of induction feelings. All this laid a good foundation for the management trainees to integrate into the collective and adapt to the work and the life.

Training of Senior Managers of Chinese Environmental Industry

In 2018, the group held all trainings of the 7th session and the first 4 trainings of the 8th session of the Senior Managers’ Symposium of Chinese Environment Industry. In addition to the personnel of the group's headquarters and various major regions and business areas, the trainees also include those from our cooperation enterprises in the environmental protection ecosystem. With a variety of innovative training forms such as case study, expert lectures, coaching techniques, visits and investigations, theme training etc. to improve and enrich the training experience of the trainees, these trainings have achieved remarkable training results.

Rich Cultural and Sports Activities to Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Group's Establishment

In 2018, on the occasion of celebrating its 10th anniversary, BEWG launched a series of rich cultural and sports activities such as the calligraphy and painting competition in an attempt to build a strong learning culture and sports culture. Through these activities, a positive corporate culture was disseminated, and a good cultural atmosphere was created in the enterprise.

In 2018, we established a quality safety center and production safety committees at all levels, formulated a series of production safety systems, and defined the production safety responsibilities and safety risk handling procedures of employees. About 28.96 million yuan were invested in production safety in 2018 to cover staff safety training and education, safety signs, firefighting facility management, and correction of potential safety hazards, so as to ensure the stable, orderly and safe production of the group as a whole.
