Qinhuangdao Regional Company Organizes "Urban Water Saving Awareness Week" Campaign 2025-05-20

To guide the public in enhancing water use efficiency, build a water-saving city, and deepen the understanding of water conservation, emission reduction, and green low-carbon concepts, Beidou Water Qinhuangdao Regional Company partnered with Pengding Holdings Hongqisheng Precision Electronics (Qinhuangdao) Co., Ltd. on May 17 to organize a social open day event during the "National Urban Water Saving Awareness Week." The event invited over 50 environmental protection staff from Pengding Holdings to visit and learn at the Third Wastewater Treatment Plant in Qinhuangdao. The aim was to provide firsthand insights into the wastewater treatment process, strengthen water conservation awareness, and jointly promote the recycling of water resources.

Plant representatives led the delegation through key process units, including coarse and fine screens, biological tanks, secondary sedimentation tanks, and high-efficiency sedimentation tanks. They provided a detailed explanation of the entire process, from wastewater collection and treatment to compliant discharge, covering the sources of wastewater, treatment stages, and final disposal. The garden-style plant environment, strict management protocols, and stable operational processes left a deep impression on the visitors. Witnessing how turbid urban wastewater becomes clear after multiple treatment stages, the delegation exclaimed: "Every drop of water treated embodies technology and wisdom!" and "It takes so many complex steps to make our daily wastewater compliant—water conservation truly starts with every small action!"

During the tour, the delegation also engaged in face-to-face exchanges with plant staff, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the wastewater treatment process and deepening their awareness of wastewater resourceization. Participants noted that the visit not broadened their perspective on environmental protection but also highlighted the urgency of water resource conservation. They committed to actively practicing environmental concepts  in their daily lives and work, fulfilling their environmental responsibilities, and contributing to building a beautiful Qinhuangdao and protecting the ecological environment.
