Kaili BEWG Qingyuan Water Co., Ltd. Represents Qiandongnan Prefecture in Guizhou Provincial Water Conservancy Industry Vocational Skills Competition and Achieves Outstanding Results 2025-11-07

On November 4, 2025, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Guizhou Skills Competition – Water Conservancy Industry Vocational Skills Competition themed "Promoting Green Development and Building a Beautiful Guizhou" was held at Guizhou Water Conservancy and Hydropower Vocational and Technical College. Sponsored by the Guizhou Federation of Trade Unions, Guizhou Provincial Department of Water Resources, and Guizhou Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the competition was co-organized by the Guizhou Federation of Trade Unions for Agriculture, Forestry, Water Conservancy and Meteorology, the Trade Union of Guizhou Provincial Department of Water Resources, Guizhou Provincial Hydrology and Water Resources Bureau, the Trade Union of Guizhou Water Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Guizhou Water Conservancy and Hydropower Vocational and Technical College, among other units.
 
The competition included three major events: Water Supply Pipeline Installation and Emergency Repair, Smart Water Management, and Hydrological Analysis and Calculation. More than 150 participants from 30 teams across the province's water conservancy system competed on the same stage, undergoing comprehensive assessments through theoretical written tests and practical operations. Kaili BEWG Qingyuan Water Co., Ltd. formed a team to represent Qiandongnan Prefecture in both group and individual competitions and achieved outstanding results: Chen Jingzhu won the Second Prize in the individual event of "Provincial Water Supply Pipeline Installation and Emergency Repair"; Xiong Yongsen won the Third Prize in the same individual event; Long Chongyan won the Third Prize in the individual event of "Provincial Smart Water Management"; the team also secured the 4th place in the "Smart Water" group competition and the 5th place in the "Water Supply Pipeline Emergency Repair" group competition.
