Poverty Alleviation and Ambition Promotion BEWG Facilitates the Construction of Beautiful Villages with Practical Achievements 2019-03-12
BEWG has actively responded to the call of the Party Central Committee, seriously participated in the three critical battles against potential risk, poverty, and pollution, fulfilled its social responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise in Beijing, and fully implemented poverty alleviation by developing industries, intelligence promotion based on science and technology, and ambition promotion based on culture and formed the “Three Co-construction” (Party Building, Government and Enterprise Cooperation, School-Enterprise Cooperation) poverty alleviation work system while continuing to promote environmental governance in villages and towns and the building of beautiful villages.

Minning, named by General Secretary Xi Jinping, is a border town in western China, which is located in the west of Yongning County, Yinchuan City. On July 19, 2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping made a special trip to Minning Town to inspect the targeted poverty alleviation and industrial development, and made an important instruction that “Minning Town has changed from the ‘Dry Beach’ of the year to the ‘Golden Beach’ of today, and has explored a broad road. We must promote this valuable experience to the whole country.”
In February 2019, at the beginning of the new semester, BEWG organized young volunteers to walk into the Gengbiao Red Army Primary School in Minning Town to have the “First Class” with the pupils.

Ten years of deep cultivation of environmental protection, and ingenuity in water governance. In September 2018, BEWG signed an agreement on domestic sewage treatment with the Yongning County Government of Ningxia to play a professional role in the construction of beautiful Minning. In the future, BEWG will also actively promote comprehensive environmental improvement projects in the villages and towns around Yinchuan to benefit thousands of villagers.
At present, BEWG has deployed village and town water business in 13 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China to directly serve more than 3,000 villages, with its sanitation business now covering 14 villages, and it has established 12 urban-rural integration projects. The activity of “BEWG Water Power” environmental education into campus is being successively carried out in these areas.
