To thoroughly implement the spirit of instructions in the “Outline of the Plan for Coordinated Development for the Beijing-Tianjin- Hebei Region” and comprehensively promote the construction and industrial development of urban infrastructure and environmental protection water projects in Hengshui City, on May 28, BEWG singed a “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement” with Hengshui Municipal Government to carry out more extensive cooperation in the construction and operation of urban infrastructure, water environment governance, comprehensive urban environmental services, etc. following the PPP project of the water system ecological restoration project in the main urban area of Hengshui City.

The project covers the water safety, water resources, water ecology, water landscape, and smart water affairs within the scope of more than 30 kilometers of water system restoration projects, as well as the commissioned operation of Zhaoquan Town sewage treatment plant upgrade and reconstruction and reclaimed water connection project (15,000 tons/day), reconstruction of reclaimed water pipeline of Hengshui Sewage Treatment Plant, Binhu New District Sewage Treatment Plant (10,000 tons/day ), etc.
