BEWG × Dalian University of Technology∣School-enterprise Cooperation to Empower the Environmental Protection Industry 2021-04-22
On April 22, the signing and awarding ceremony for school-enterprise cooperation between BEWG and Dalian University of Technology was held in the School of Environmental Science and Technology of Dalian University of Technology. Liu Meng, associate dean of the School of Environmental Science and Technology of Dalian University of Technology, Jin Ruofei, associate dean of the School of Environmental Science and Technology of Dalian University of Technology, Yu Liguo, senior vice president of BEWG and dean of BEWG Water School, et.al. attended the signing ceremony.
Under the witness of the participants, Liu Meng, associate dean of the School of Environmental Science and Technology of Dalian University of Technology, and Ji Guangpeng, deputy general manager of the Human Resources Center of BEWG and deputy dean of BEWG Water School, signed the school-enterprise cooperation agreement and the agreement on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements on behalf of the two parties, and signed the agreement on joint training base for professional degree postgraduate with Qu Wei, general manager of the Northeast Business District of Northern Region of BEWG on behalf of the two parties.
Before the signing ceremony, Yu Liguo and his delegation had a discussion on in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with Yang Bingjun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and director of the CPC Organization Department of Dalian University of Technology, and Meng Xiuli, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Environmental Science and Technology. The two sides exchanged ideas on talent training, internship and employment, project research, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, construction of training bases, innovation and entrepreneurship education, etc., and reached the intention of cooperation.
At the signing ceremony, Yu Liguo introduced the development history of BEWG and BEWG Water School. He pointed out that, in the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, in the face of China’s strategic goals of improving ecosystem quality and stability, continuously improving the environmental quality, accelerating the transformation of the growth model to green development, etc., both investment in the eco-environmental protection industry and talent demand will continue to increase. The signing of this school-enterprise cooperation agreement is the starting point for BEWG and Dalian University of Technology to further deepen cooperation, and the two parties are expected to implement the new model of joint training of professional talents and the long-term mechanism for transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and work together to build a new platform for talent training and build a new pattern of integration of production and education based on the concept of “resource sharing, complementary advantages, win-win cooperation, and coordinated development" and through a multi-faceted, in-depth and comprehensive cooperation model.

He introduced that Dalian University of Technology has a long history, rich cultural background, and fruitful achievements, and it has cultivated a large number of talents with “solid foundation, active thinking, strong adaptability, and high comprehensive quality” for China.
