News of Victory! BEWG Signed with Plant-Network Integration PPP Projects in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Successively 2021-11-09
Recently, the consortium led by BEWG won the bid of two plant-network integration PPP projects, namely the sanitary sewage treatment plant in Yongli Dasha District, Lianzhou Town, Doumen, Zhuhai City and its supporting pipe network project, the Xinqing industrial sewage treatment plant and its supporting pipe network project, and formally signed the contract. This project signing fills BEWG’s market blank in the special economic zone of Zhuhai; it is also one of BEWG South Region’s key achievements in seizing major strategic opportunities and positively integrating itself into the construction practice of the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation area in Hengqin.
The PPP project of the sanitary sewage treatment plant in Yongli Dasha District, Lianzhou Town and its supporting pipe network project has a total investment of RMB 333,787,300 yuan. The main construction contents of the project include the construction of the sanitary sewage treatment plant in Yongli Dasha District, Lianzhou Town with the scale of 15000 m3/d, the construction of its supporting pipe networks of 12.3KM, and 2 sewage treatment pump stations. Among them, the civil engineering of the Dasha sewage treatment pump station is constructed with the long-term scale of 20,000 m3/d; the equipment is installed with the short-term scale of 10,000m3/d; the scale of 1# sewage pump station is 10,000m3/d.
The sewage in Lianzhou Town is mainly collected in a scattered manner and then treated. The operation and maintenance management of the sewage treatment system is inconvenient, with high energy consumption. With the rapid development of the local social economy, the sewage discharge has been gradually improved and the environmental issue has been increasingly prominent; the handling capacity of sewage facilities cannot match the social economic development. Meanwhile, in the north of Doumen District and the mid of Lianzhou Town, the blueprint planning of the Lianzhou Dasha · Yongli Comprehensive Pioneering Demonstration Plot has been depicted; Dasha Yongli District will become an ecological new city in the north, which integrates the high-end service industry, including the modern agriculture, leisurely sightseeing, health regimen and hotel catering. In the future, the sanitary sewage treatment plant in Yongli Dasha District, Lianzhou Town and its supporting pipe network project will turn the scattered collection and treatment of sewage into concentrated treatment, further ensure the water environment of Yongli Dasha District in Lianzhou Town, and help with the district’s high-quality development.
The PPP project of Xinqing industrial sewage treatment plant and its supporting pipe network project has a total investment of RMB 1,001,402,400 yuan. The main construction contents of the project include the new construction of Phase I project of Xinqing industrial sewage treatment plant with the scale of 35,000 m3/d, new construction and repair of supporting pipe networks of 49.4KM of Xinqing District. Xinqing industrial sewage treatment plant and its supporting pipe network project are mainly responsible for treating the production and sanitary wastewater in Xinqing Technological Industrial Park, improving the district’s sewage treatment ability and alleviating the production load of the existing sanitary wastewater. By improving the development of the environment capacity service industry, it provides guarantee of environment infrastructure for the industrial transformation and upgrade, extension and quality enhancement of Xinqing Technological Industrial Park.
Zhuhai is the core city of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With the formal release of Overall Construction Plan of Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Area in Hengqin (hereinafter referred to as the Overall Plan), Zhuhai has increasingly significant location advantages.
In order to help Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area consolidate the ecological barrier, as one of the early environment-friendly enterprises that fully match the ecological layout of the Greater Bay Area with the water industry, BEWG took the lead to set up the development mode of guidance and rooting in the area. Through long-term explorations, BEWG South Region has successfully created a number of high-quality projects in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, thus forming good demonstration effects.
Doumen District in Zhuhai City, where the project is located, is the strategic exploration area of Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation area in Hengqin. It seizes important historical opportunities, comprehensively keeps in line with Overall Plan, positively integrates itself into the construction of Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation area in Hengqin and thus realizes the high-quality development of the economic society. The governmental work report of Doumen District in 2021 also indicates: it will be created as a low-carbon, intelligent, ecological, coastal, livable and high-standard city according to local conditions.
The signing of the two projects is a new starting point and a new journey, which opens a new page of BEWG’s deep exploration in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
