BEWG’s BEAOA Technology is Recognized by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China 2022-11-22
Recently, the “BEAOA nitrogen and phosphorus removal technology with efficient utilization of internal carbon source” (hereinafter referred to as “BEAOA technology”) developed by BEWG has passed the technical certification of the Environmental Development Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China, and obtained the certificate of ecological environment technology assessment. This is a full affirmation of the effect of energy saving, consumption reduction and sludge reduction of BEWG’s BAEAOA technology applied in urban domestic sewage treatment, which will accelerate the transformation and engineering application of BEAOA technology achievements.
The domestic expert group led by academician Ren Nanqi conducted on-site inspection and review on the BEAOA technology: compared with the traditional A2/O, this technology is characterized by short retention time of the biochemical tank, with significant advantages including in-situ capacity improvement, energy saving, excess sludge reduction, etc. The expert group suggested to promote the application of the BEAOA technology in China as soon as possible and accelerate the technology iteration.
Continuous innovation in application
In April this year, BEWG officially released the BEAOA technology products, which has attracted extensive attention in the industry. Since then, the R&D team has continued to optimize and innovate based on the difficulties in R&D and application with customers as the source. In terms of process design, it will continue to enrich the connotation of BEAOA process package, promote the productization, equipping and standardization of BEAOA technology, and introduce algorithm simulation means to form complete process package products covering design and operation, so as to customize technical solutions for customers in a quick and high-quality manner.
With the joint efforts of all technical personnel of the Group, 7 municipal sewage and industrial wastewater projects have been completed and are being implemented based on the BEAOA technology, which are distributed in Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shandong, Guangxi, Yunnan, etc., with a total design scale of more than 140,000 m³/d. Compared with traditional activated sludge process, BEAOA technology can effectively save project land, investment, drug consumption and power consumption. In the future, this achievement will be promoted and applied in more projects to achieve win-win economic, environmental and social benefits and boost the healthy development of the ecological environment industry.
It was pointed out in the “Thirteenth Five-Year” Special Plan for Scientific and Technological Innovation in the Ecological Environment Sector that it needs to lead the leapfrog development of the environmental protection industry and enhance international competitiveness so as to generate high-end new technologies, new materials and new equipment.
