Southern Plus News Network | Zhuhai Xinqing Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant enters the sewage commissioning stage, and the industrial park will enter a new stage of sustainable development 2025-02-08

On October 31st, with the gradual opening of the coarse grid gate, the Xinqing Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant in Zhuhai officially began water supply, and it is expected to achieve full water intake in mid November. With the completion of the construction of the Xinqing Industrial Sewage Treatment Plant and its supporting sewage pipeline network project, the efficiency of sewage collection and treatment in the Xinqing Science and Technology Industrial Park will be greatly improved, the discharge of pollutants will be significantly reduced, and sufficient environmental capacity will be provided for the high-quality development of the industry, promoting the sustainable development of the industrial park.

The Xinqing Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant is located in the Xinqing Science and Technology Industrial Park, with a treatment capacity of 35000 m ³/d and effluent quality better than Class A standard. The main service scope includes all plots west of Xinqing Zhengyong and industrial plots east of Xinqing Zhengyong, with a service area of approximately 5.62 million square meters.

As a key environmental governance project in Doumen District, Zhuhai City, Xinqing Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant has always received attention from all walks of life. To this end, Zhuhai Xinqing Project Company closely adheres to the business philosophy of "customer-oriented" of Beijing Enterprises Water Group, and the operation team has started pre work early, from upstream enterprise sewage research to project construction process acceptance, equipment installation and commissioning, and preparation for commissioning work, aiming to quickly enter the commissioning stage. After the sewage enters the plant, each process section will enter a critical "assessment period", and the project's operation team will gradually relay and complete the project trial operation tasks.

Overlooking the factory area, multiple individual buildings including the inlet pump room, regulating tank, comprehensive biochemical sewage treatment tank, nickel physicochemical biochemical reaction tank, sedimentation tank, and comprehensive building adopt a modular design and are equipped with elevated corridors, creating a harmonious and orderly overall space. Internally, it is a "hardcore" sewage treatment plant that combines internal and external repairs. The treatment plant will be designed with a combination of integrated treatment areas and nickel containing wastewater treatment systems, which not only ensures the spatial independence of production and non production areas, but also maximizes the protection of intensive construction land and improves the spatial quality of the plant area. Underground, each enterprise in Xinqing Science and Technology Industrial Park has installed dedicated sewage pipes connected to the sewage treatment plant. A "one-to-one" online automatic water quality monitoring device is installed at the inlet of the sewage treatment plant to monitor real-time indicators such as wastewater flow rate and metal content, and dynamically control the sewage discharge situation to ensure the safe and stable operation of the sewage treatment system, thereby obtaining high-quality effluent water. In the factory area, as the core carrier of industrial wastewater purification in Xinqing Technology Industrial Park, the factory has ingeniously set up dual treatment routes, including comprehensive wastewater treatment line and nickel containing wastewater treatment line. According to different water quality, different processes are used for treatment, and the effluent quality is stable and better than the Class A standard of the "Pollutant Discharge Standards for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants" (GB18918-2002).

In addition, as the underground extension of the Xinqing Industrial Sewage Treatment Plant, the supporting pipeline construction project includes five sub projects: supporting domestic sewage pipeline network, supporting industrial sewage pipeline network, supporting wastewater purification plant tail water pipe, supporting rainwater pipeline network, and repairing existing diseased pipeline network. Currently, 90% of the supporting pipeline construction project has been completed, and the remaining part is expected to be completed by the end of November.
