BEWG Operations (Water Quality Testing) Practice Base Unveiling & Class Open Ceremony 2019-09-26
On 25 Sep 2019, the unveiling and opening ceremony of the BEWG Operations (Water Quality Testing) training base was held in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. Mr. ZHU Wenxiang, Deputy Director of Kunshan Municipal Water Affairs Bureau, Jiangsu Province; Mr. ZHANG Tiefu, Executive Director and Vice President of BEWG; Ms. LIU Weiyan, Group Operations Director; Mr. ZHOU Xuhui, Deputy General Manager of East Region; Mr. WANG Li, Deputy General Manager of Group Operation Management Center; Mr. CHEN Deming, General Manager of BCEG Environment Development (建工环境); Mr. LI Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of BCEG Environment Development; Mr. HANG Yilan, Deputy General Manager of the Group's Human Resources Center and other relevant department leaders and personnel attended the ceremony.
As Chinese government attaches importance to the effects of environmental governance and tightens supervision, especially the implementation of this year's "Three-year Action Plan for Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Sewage Treatment", the environmental industry has entered an era of improving quality and efficiency. To meet the needs of industry development, BEWG has established the year of 2019 as the "Quality Year", paying more attention to the quality and benefits of development, and transforming into a light asset company through the construction of an asset management platform and an operation management platform, and will treat the enhancement of its operational capabilities as the core value of its light asset model. The water quality testing and training base is the first training base built by the BEWG operation line. It is also one of the important measures for the Group to build an operation training system, cultivate high-quality operation technology and management talents, and improve core operational capabilities.
At the class open ceremony, Mr. ZHANG Tiefu emphasized the importance of the establishment of a water quality testing training base for the implementation of the dual-platform strategy. Mr. ZHANG Tiefu pointed out that operating capability is the core support of the operation management platform in the Group's dual-platform strategy. Kunshan water quality inspection training base came into being, marking BEWG’s determination to improve its operating level and capabilities. He hoped that trainees would cherish the opportunity, continue to learn and practice, improve operational capabilities and levels, and grow together with BEWG.
In her speech, Ms. LIU Weiyan analyzed the Group's operation level and the status quo of talent provision. Ms. LIU Weiyan pointed out that with the development of the Group, high-quality operation talents have become one of the important factors affecting the stable and efficient operation of the project company. The water quality testing and training base is the first training base built by the Group's operation line. We will build a world-leading operation project management system and talent training system through the establishment of a team of top training lecturers, development of standardized special courses, and enhance the BEWG branding competence by improving the technical level and management level of the operation system staff and building an excellent operation team. In addition, through course development and regular lectures, we’re gradually improving the business and teaching levels of internal lecturers, and providing professional training and consulting services to the outside world.
Mr. WANG Li announced the opening of the first training course for sewage testing workers at the BEWG Operations (Water Quality Test) base. It is reported that the first phase of the training for sewage testing workers lasts for 6 days. A total of 6 outstanding laboratory teachers and 30 trainees participated in the main courses. The main courses include basic knowledge of sewage treatment, basic knowledge of laboratory tests, conventional water quality testing and analysis methods, quality control and safety management.
The unveiling of the BEWG Operations (Water Quality Test) training base marks the official start of operation of the BEWG training bases, which will lay a solid foundation for the Group to implement its dual platform strategy, and realize high quality and continued growth.
