Yu Liguo, the rotating CEO of BEWG, was elected deputy secretary general of the National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee for Ecological Environment 2021-12-13

On December 13, the Ministry of Education announced the list of members of the new National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee (2021-2025). Yu Liguo, the rotating CEO of BEWG and the president of BEWG modern industry college, was elected deputy secretary general of the National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee for Ecological Environment, Ji Guangpeng, deputy general manager of BEWG Education Center, vice president of BEWG modern industry college, was elected as a member of the National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee for Human Resources and Social Security.

National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Steering committee”) is an expert organization entrusted by the Ministry of Education and established and managed under the leadership by the competent departments or organizations of various industries to provide research, consultation, guidance and service for the vocational education and training of relevant industries (professions). It is an important carrier for vocational education to promote the integration of production and education, deepen teaching reform, and unite departmental forces. There are 57 steering committees in this session, with a four-year term of office from 2021 to 2025. 

This appointment to the National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee for Ecological Environment and the National Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee for Human Resources and Social Security is an affirmation of BEWG’s promotion of industry-education integration and talent construction in recent years. As a leading enterprise in the environmental protection industry, BEWG has given full play to its important main role. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Education and competent departments of relevant industry and industry organizations, BEWG has made positive contributions and useful exploration in promoting the reform of vocational education and teaching and improving the quality of talent training by focusing on promoting and deepening of the integration of production and education, school-enterprise cooperation.

Since 2013, BEWG has actively promoted school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of production and education, and created a three-dimensional talent value chain of “government, industry, learning, research, application, innovation and finance”.
 
BEWG has built a new pattern of integration of production and education, actively made layout for the establishment of (modern) industrial colleges, held the dean’s forum of industrial colleges, initiated the establishment of China’s ecological environment production and education alliance, and successfully held three summit forums for the integration of production and education, one human resources summit forum, two beautiful China - environmental industry college students’ special job fairs, three college students’ vocational skills competitions, four China “Internet +” ecological environment innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, etc;
