BEWG attended the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services to talk about the new digital intelligence future of low carbon 2023-12-15

2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services Digital Low-Carbon Sub-Forum was held in Beijing on September 5th, and the Vice President of BEWG, Mr. Mao Jianhua, was invited to attend and give a keynote speech to talk about the carbon reduction effect of the digital transformation of water pollution management.
 
Under the guidance of Beijing Municipal People's Government, hosted by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and organized by Beijing Green Industry Development Promotion Association, the Digital Low Carbon Sub-forum, with the theme of "Digital Low Carbon and Smart Leadership for the Future", invites nearly 300 representatives from relevant government departments, universities and scientific research institutes, industry associations, and renowned domestic and foreign enterprises in the field of digital low carbon, share new ideas and achievements in the field of digital low-carbon, discuss the deep integration of digital intelligence and green low-carbon, and seek for the high-quality integration and development of digital low-carbon.
 
The Carbon Reduction Effect of Digital Transformation in Water Pollution Management
 
As the only water industry enterprise representative, Mr. Mao Jianhua shared the experience and thoughts of BEWG in practicing digital low-carbon with the theme of "Carbon Reduction Effect of Digital Transformation of Water Pollution Governance".
 
Mr. Mao Jianhua pointed out that the improvement of water ecological environment and pollution reduction and carbon reduction in parallel, is an important embodiment of Chinese modernization, low-carbon development is from "scale-driven extensive development" to "innovation-driven high-quality development". As the water pollution control industry itself has the dual characteristics of public utilities and infrastructure, and is oriented to individuals and enterprises, therefore, the use of digital means to open up the process of "decision-making-implementation-operation" of the relevant parties has become one of the keys to improve the efficiency of the industry.
 
"Unscientific planning, low-quality construction, low-level operation is the main factor causing the increase of carbon emissions", said Mr. Mao Jianhua, BEWG utilize industrial digital innovation tools, with rich experience and strong data analysis capabilities to form quantitative decision-making to support scientific planning and decision-making on water pollution management; through business digitalization Innovation drive and enterprise digital lean management, improve business efficiency, reduce carbon emissions; change mind from  "bulk" to "complete package", complete the knowledge precipitation and rapid replication, realize the technology and service productization, equipment, and continue to improve the quality and stability of the ecosystem.
 
5 autonomous low-carbon technologies selected for green technology compilation
 
Under the guidance of the national "double carbon" goal, BEWG, centering on the "1+4+4" business portfolio, has actively laid out the actions and paths related to carbon emission reduction, and spared no effort to explore and tap the carbon reduction potential of the enterprise by energy saving and consumption reduction through technological innovation, lean operation and other means, and promote win-win situation of economic value creation and ecological value creation.
 
At the forum, the Beijing Green Industry Development Promotion Association released the Collection of Beijing Green Technology and Excellent Cases, and five independent technologies of BEWG, namely BEAOA, BELEBC, BECFBR, Beikong Fast Granule and Targeted Flocculant, were listed.
 
The development of its own green and low-carbon technologies and products is an important step on the road of "carbon reduction design, low-carbon operation and zero-carbon management". In recent years, BEWG has increased its investment in new low-carbon technologies, tapped the potential of carbon emission reduction, and promoted the research and development and application of low-carbon technologies in the field of water services. At present, BEWG has developed a series of new low-carbon technology products to help modernized water plants achieve low energy consumption and high standards of treatment, while actively participating in the formulation of low-carbon related group standards to help the water industry low-carbon transformation.
