BEWG won the Capital Civilized Units award 2024-04-19
Recently, the Capital Spiritual Civilization Construction Committee released the list of "Capital Civilized Units" for the year of 2021-2023, BEWG is on the list. This is a recognition of BEWG’s performance in social responsibility, corporate civilization, employee care, innovation and social image.
The Capital Spiritual Civilization Creation Activity is held once every three years, and the "Capital Civilization Unit" selected by the activity is an important honor in the field of spiritual civilization construction in the capital. Under the leadership of Beijing Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, Beijing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Capital Civilization Committee, and Beijing Enterprise Group, BEWG has strengthened the leadership of the Party, insisted on the coordinated development of material civilization and spiritual civilization, given full play to the advantages of the state-owned enterprises, and made deep efforts in the field of environmental protection, and has carried out the work of spiritual civilization construction through the various aspects of the enterprise's operation and development.
With Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era as its guide, the Party Committee of BEWG fully implements the general requirements of Party construction in the new era, fully, accurately and comprehensively carries out the new development concept, identifies the combining point, continuously promotes the in-depth integration of Party construction work and production and operation, and coordinates and promotes the work of spiritual civilization construction.
In December 2023, the Party building experience of BEWG was selected as a typical Party building work of Beijing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) system by Capital Construction Newspaper. BEWG has been carrying out the theme education of "Unforgetfulness of the Beginning, Keeping the Mission in Mind", Party history education, and the theme education of learning and implementing Xi Jinping's thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, giving full play to the role of the battlefield of grass-roots Party organizations and the vanguard role of the majority of Party members, enriching the form of learning through a variety of measures, and giving full play to diversified activities in a practical way to promote the positive energy of society.
Bearing in mind the concept of "two mountains", BEWG is oriented to the needs of national strategy, plowing into the main business of environmental protection, aiming to meet the needs of customers, taking the people's livelihood as the value scale, adhering to the business purpose of "customer as the source, innovation as the way", and taking into account environmental performance and social responsibility in its operation. The company is closely aligned with major national strategies, based on the capital city, facing the whole country, and focusing on the core water control highland of "three slices, two rivers, one belt, and three highlights", with projects covering 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country.
BEWG attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation, continues to increase R&D investment, and build customer oriented technological product innovation capability. With technological innovation to drive low-carbon development, a series of technical products such as "BEAOA" and "BEWG Speed Grain" will be produced to guide the direction and goal of scientific and technological progress. BEWG will explore the work of "future new water", launch the 2024-2028 Science and Technology Development Plan, tackle core technologies, drive and support the scientific and technological development of the Group.

In 2023, in the face of extreme rainfall challenges brought about by Typhoon Dusu Rui, BEWG made every effort to ensure the safe production and personal safety of its employees in various projects, made careful preparations and thorough deployments before the flood, and actively carried out the resumption of work and post-disaster reconstruction after the flood, which was widely praised by the People's Government of Fangshan District of Beijing, the People's Government of Badaling Town of Yanqing District, and the Mentougou District Water Bureau.
