BEWG Showcases Multiple Technological Innovation Achievements at 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference 2026-03-30
From March 25 to 29, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum was held in Beijing with the theme of "Deep Integration of Scientific and Technological Innovation and Industrial Innovation". On March 28, BEWG Group, under Beijing Enterprises Holdings, showcased multiple technological innovation achievements and urban water management solutions at the Zhongguancun Forum Beijing Enterprises special event "Technology Empowering Urban Sustainable Development Conference", focusing on "Serving Urban Development, Creating Better Lives". Through achievement releases, scenario demonstrations, and keynote speeches, BEWG discussed the "BEWG Solution" for digital-intelligent transformation of the water industry with all sectors of society.
At the conference, BEWG Group released a major corporate technological innovation achievement — "Dual Drive of Intelligence and Technology — A New Paradigm of Urban Water Management", innovatively creating a new model of city-level integrated coordination and Cloud-Chain-Terminal fused water management. Four core digital-intelligent products were launched: the Wastewater Operations Management System (SED), the wastewater industry vertical large model "Enki", the Plant-Network Collaborative Operations Management Platform, and the industrial internet platform — Yunlian Network, building a complete digital-intelligent system of "foundation support — smart upgrade — horizontal extension — capability output". Core products have been comprehensively validated within BEWG, effectively promoting operational quality and efficiency improvement, and relevant technologies and platforms are accelerating industry-wide promotion.
According to Jia Pixin, Vice President of BEWG Group, BEWG recognized during the 14th Five-Year Plan period that digital intelligence is a necessary condition for industry transformation in the era of existing assets. With five years of technological accumulation, BEWG completed the leap from its own digital transformation to industry digital-intelligent capability output. BEWG adheres to two major concepts in digital-intelligent transformation: first, achieving triple upgrade of technology, business paradigm, and management model through the "Cloud-Chain-Terminal" paradigm; second, pursuing the development of industry water plants from "individually good" to "universally good", driving the collaborative upgrading of the entire water industry.
Jia Pixin stated that based on the operational concept of "things online, people online, management online", BEWG's wastewater operations digital foundation platform has achieved real-time perception of water plant equipment and instrument data, digitalized O&M process workflows, and online management and control of technical and economic indicators. The star-rated operation quality management system, developed over many years, continuously improves plant-side technology and management optimization by raising star-rated baselines, and the high-quality data accumulated has become a solid foundation for water intelligence. Building on this, BEWG launched the R&D of the wastewater vertical large model "Enki" in 2025, creating a "smart brain" for wastewater operations that "understands processes and excels at decision-making": by constructing high-quality datasets for the water industry,固化固化 expert regulation experience into operational knowledge graphs, building intelligent agents with small models, and using large models to coordinate calculations to find optimal plant operation solutions, achieving adaptive regulation of wastewater plants. The model is currently undergoing continuous iterative training with continuously improving intelligence levels.
"The pain points and difficulties of the water industry are concentrated in insufficient plant-network coordination, uneven operational efficiency, lagging risk warnings, and complex urban water body management," Jia Pixin emphasized. BEWG's Plant-Network Collaborative Operations Management Platform breaks through the limitations of the traditional single-plant model, achieving precise governance in scenarios such as flood prevention and drainage, overflow pollution prevention and control, and pollution and carbon reduction through "plant + pipeline network" data interconnection and AI coordinated regulation, comprehensively enhancing water system resilience and supporting urban renewal and existing asset quality improvement during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
Built on the foundation of the Wastewater Operations Management System and Plant-Network Integrated Scheduling System, BEWG launched "Yunlian Network" as an industrial internet platform, creating tools such as "Data Sandbox" and "Model Laboratory" to provide controllable data space services externally, comprehensively opening data resources, and transforming water assets into data assets. BEWG expects to collaborate with industry, academia, and research institutions to advance the industry's intelligence level, accelerate R&D and iterative verification of new technologies and products, and empower the high-quality development of the water industry.
A city's water system is its "veins", and wastewater treatment is a key proposition in safeguarding clear waters and green mountains. BEWG's achievement release and in-depth sharing at the Zhongguancun Forum not only demonstrated the enterprise's deep accumulation in water technology, but also allowed the industry to see the infinite possibilities of digital intelligence reconstructing the water industry logic.
