BEWG and Shaoxing Public Utilities Group signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement 2018-11-09
On 7 Nov 2018, BEWG and Shaoxing Public Utilities Group signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement in Shaoxing, where the parties will agree on the intent of cooperation in water supply & discharge and smart water affairs, and establish a communication mechanism, laying a solid foundation for future mutual development and cooperation.
LI Yongcheng, Vice Chairman and Executive Deputy GM of BEG, Executive Director and Chairman of BEWG; CAI Jianming, Deputy Party Secretary and GM of Shaoxing Public Utilities Group, and WANG Zhupin, Vice President of BERWG, attended and witnessed signing ceremony.
ZHOU Kewen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shaoxing Public Utilities Group, and ZHOU Min, Executive Director and President of BEWG, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
The two parties had a discussion before signing. ZHOU Kewen introduced the development overview of Shaoxing Public Utilities Group. It’s a wholly state-owned enterprise engaged in the planning, construction and operation of urban water affairs, energy and environmental sanitation facilities and state-owned capital management in Shaoxing City. It has four major business sectors including water supply and sewage treatment, energy supply, waste treatment, and heating. It has 7 directly affiliated enterprises. Its corporate culture concept and business are compatible with and complementary to BEWG. ZHOU Kewen expressed his expectation for the cooperation between the two parties, and hoped that the two parties can achieve resource sharing, complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win through cooperation.
LI Yongcheng introduced the major business segments of BEWG and the development of domestic and foreign business, and proposed that Shaoxing Public Utilities Group and BEWG may achieve coordinated development in many aspects in business, and both parties should give full play to their respective advantages and work together in concert.
ZHOU Min introduced the business sectors and development ideas of BEWG, and expressed the expectation of in-depth cooperation with Shaoxing Public Utilities Group in urban water supply, sewage business, smart water, etc. to achieve win-win results, in the hope that both parties may actively explore flexible and diversified cooperation models and realize the first cooperation project in a short period of time.
ZHOU Kewen accompanied LI Yongcheng and ZHOU Min to visit the urban water supply pipe network leakage control training base and the Shaoxing Public Utilities Group Water Supply & Drainage Dispatch Center.
