On 27 Nov 2019, the unveiling ceremony of Changjiang Green Development Private Fund Management Co., Ltd. (长江绿色发展基金管理有限公司) jointly held in Beijing, by Three Gorges Group, BEWG Three Gorges Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. and BEG Financial Services (Beijing) Investment Holdings Co., Ltd.
HU Zucai, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and Deputy Director of the Office of the Leading Group for Promoting the Development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt; LEI Mingshan, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Three Gorges Group; LUO Guosan, Director of the Basic Department of the NDRC; ZHANG Jiasheng, Mayor of Yichang City, Hubei Province; SUN Zhiyu, Party Member and Deputy GM of Three Gorges Group; HE Hongxin, Deputy Chief Accountant, Asset Finance Department Director of Three Gorges Group; ZHOU Min, BEWG President; ZHU Hongbiao, CFO of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd., witnessed the unveiling of Changjiang Green Development Investment Fund and Changjiang Green Development Private Fund Management Co., Ltd. Three Gorges Group and BEWG took another solid step in the joint protection of the Yangtze River.
After the unveiling ceremony, the leaders present at the meeting discussed the cooperation of Three Gorges Group, BEWG and China Communications Construction Group to protect the Yangtze River, and gave full play to the role of the Changjiang Green Development Fund in the ecological environment of the Yangtze River, and proposed clear requirements for the development of Changjiang Green Development Fund and the fund management company.
Eco-environmental protection of the Yangtze River is not only an important practice to promote ecological civilization, but also an important foundation for realizing China’s "5-in-1" overall layout and building a beautiful China. The Changjiang Green Development Private Fund Management Co., Ltd. is the deepening and implementation of the "dual platform" cooperation model between Three Gorges Group and BEWG, to invest primarily in water resource efficient utilization, water ecological restoration, water environment protection and other fields, centering on the development strategy of Yangtze River Economic Belt. Both parties will make full use of their respective corporate advantages, integrate state-owned capital strength and professional capital management capabilities, and do their best to provide financial support for the protection of the Yangtze River, so as to better protect and restore the ecological environment of the Yangtze River.
