BEWG College won the award of “Most Growing Corporate University of 2019” listed in the Ranking of China’s Best Corporate Universities of 2019 2019-12-13

On 12 Dec 2019, the Awarding Ceremony of the Ranking of China’s Best Corporate Universities of 2019 & the Ninth China Corporate Universities Development Forum was held in Shanghai, where present were governmental organs, foreign and domestic first class corporate university experts and scholars, to witness this annual celebration together. Among nearly 100 corporate universities participating in this fierce competition, BEWG College won the award of “Most Growing Corporate University of 2019”.

The Ranking of China’s Best Corporate Universities is hosted by Overseas Education College of Shanghai Jiaotong University, with the aim to build a platform of professional authority and co-creation and sharing by creating value for corporate universities. For 7 years since the Ranking was created, many famous corporate universities have been listed, such as Tencent College, Haier University, China Resources University, Wanda College, JD University, China Mobile College, and China Railway Fourth Bureau Group. The "Ranking of China's Best Corporate Universities" has become the barometer for the development of Chinese corporate universities.

It’s known that the participants of this year count the most, and the competition of this year is the most fierce. The results are reviewed by entrepreneurs, experts and scholars through questionnaires, documentation, examination, benchmark alignment, field survey and other methods, with the 8 parameters including organizational overview, strategic docking, and organizational collaboration.

In recent years, the environmental protection industry has developed rapidly, and the gap of professional and technical personnel has gradually increased. In the process of light asset transition, BEWG proposed to upgrade the four drives of “investment + technology + talents + data” through the construction of two major management platforms for assets and operation, so that talents will become a major drive for corporate development. In order to ensure the full implementation of the strategy, BEWG established the BEWG College in 2017, focusing on cultivating talents, inheriting culture, promoting change, and ecological construction. It not only meets the needs of talents for the transformation and development of BEWG, but also delivers crossover, high-end blue-collar talents in the field of water services to the entire environmental protection industry.

Envisaged to become "the most respected business school in the environmental protection industry", BEWG College is committed to promoting and organizing the construction of the company’s training system in terms of internal and industry talent development, and now it has established online and offline multi-dimensional model. The offline college provides numerous training courses for various employees and ecological partners of BEWG, forming a number of brand training programs including senior managers of China's environmental industry; the online college organizes "BEWG College- Online Campus", whose curricular system setting covers leadership, interpersonal communication, workplace literacy, self-management and other fields, as well as internal professional-related courses offered by the Group's internal functional centers and business units to fully support the construction of business and grass-roots operating systems. At current stage, the College is using BEWG College- Online Campus as the test platform to fully implement the knowledge test for all employees of the company, combining online and offline, to promote learning by exams, promote doing by learning and improve the operating qualities of employees.

Actively respond to the national call for the integration of industry and education, and continue to explore new models of school-enterprise cooperation. At present, BEWG College has signed the "School-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement" with 62 universities including Harbin Institute of Technology, and has signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements with 5 colleges including Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering, to jointly establish industrial colleges. It has created China’s first water affairs management major (Smart Water Affairs direction) with Shandong Water Conservancy Vocational College, and has participated in the formulation of talents training programs, the development of teaching materials, and practical training and employment with universities.

Gathering industry energy, BEWG takes the lead in the China Eco-Environmental Industry-Education Alliance. At present, 134 alliance members have established long-term strategic partnerships with 69 companies and 65 colleges and universities. The corporate think tank platform has gathered 738 think tank experts, and has held two industry-education integration summit forums, the "Internet+" ecological environment innovation and entrepreneurship competition, and a college students vocational skills competition, to promote the engagement of the intellectual resources of domestic and foreign universities and research institutes in the technological innovation process of the ecological environment in the form of competitions, enabling enterprises to obtain continuous technical support, and enabling the scientific research results of colleges and universities to create values.

This award is a third-party 's full recognition of the efforts of BEWG College in the two years since its establishment, and an affirmation of BEWG College's continuous empowerment to universities and society.
