BEWG and Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Protection Group Co.,Ltd. Jointly Makes the First Joint Public Bidding, with Upgraded Procurement Management Model 2021-06-07
From June 4 to 5, the joint public bidding for water meter procurement between BEWG and Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Protection Group Co.,Ltd. in 2020-2021 was successfully completed. This is the first joint public bidding for the two companies. The new procurement management model not only demonstrated the industry advantages in a concentrated manner, expanded the industry radiation capabilities of flagship companies, but also provided suppliers with a more open, fair and transparent business environment. The dual performance environment of the two companies has been further improved while more cost-effective products are obtained.
Upholding the concept of cooperation to actively exert the industry agglomeration effect
Starting from the end of 2019, planning, combined with the business features and respective advantages of BEWG and Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Protection Group Co.,Ltd., the two parties have adopted the joint public bidding method, and taken water meter procurement as a pilot and breakthrough as for first cooperation on the procurement side. They simultaneously released bidding information on the procurement network of BEWG and the e-commerce platform of Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Protection Group Co.,Ltd., and simultaneously released information on the China Tendering And Bidding Public Service Platform, which has attracted nearly 50 suppliers from all over China to participated in a total of 9 lots and 115 bids, fully demonstrating the agglomeration effect of cooperation between the two parties.

The whole process of this bid evaluation is subject to the general principles of fairness, openness and impartiality, with full on-site supervision of the auditors to effectively guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of all participants. The team of experts made systematic evaluation of the suppliers from comprehensive strength, development history, market share, manufacturer’s performance, system certification, technical capabilities, industrial design, product quality assurance, pre-sales and post-service, corporate credit, etc., and made “exquisite” selection of the comprehensive capabilities of the equipment suppliers based on the “rate of quality to price”.

The joint bidding has created a new situation and a new path for win-win cooperation between the two companies. Through intensive purchasing by invitation to bid, a number of high-quality suppliers were attracted for active participation. The reasonable competition among bidders was increased, the improvement of product technology and quality was enhanced, and the performance environment of the supply and requisitioning parties was improved while giving full play to the scale merit of procurement, thereby promoting in-depth optimization and integration of the downstream market of the environmental protection industry, and promoting the transformation of the product market to intensification.
