Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited was selected in Standard & Poor's first edition of Global Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2023-06-30
On June 28th, S&P Global published the evaluation results of the first edition of the Yearbook of Sustainable Development (China Edition), and Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited became the only selected enterprise in the domestic public utility industry by virtue of its outstanding achievements in the 2022 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), and won the commendation of "Best Progressive Enterprise in the Industry".
Standard & Poor's Global Sustainability Yearbook (Global Edition) has been published for 16 consecutive years, which is an important reference document widely recognized by ESG investors and stakeholders around the world. The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) adopted by it is also one of the most influential and credible corporate sustainability assessments in the world. In 2023, Standard & Poor's released the Yearbook of Sustainable Development (China Edition) for the first time in the world, aiming at identifying and commending Chinese enterprises that have demonstrated the advantages of sustainable development in their respective industries. The selection scope included nearly 1,600 enterprises in 60 industries in China, and only about 5% of the top companies were selected for this yearbook. At the same time, Standard & Poor's awarded the "Best Progressive Enterprise in the Industry" to the enterprise with the greatest progress in the sustainable development score of Standard & Poor's in the same industry compared with the previous year (at least 5% higher score).
In 2022, with its outstanding performance in ESG, Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited was included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices of S&P for the first time, and became a component of DJSI-Emerging Markets.
