Beijing Enterprises Water Group (BEWG) Makes an Appearance at Beijing Enterprises Science and Technology Innovation Culture Week 2025-10-23
Recently, the 1st "Beijing Enterprises Science and Technology Innovation Culture Week & 4th Beijing-Hong Kong Environmental Technology Forum," hosted by Beijing Enterprises Holdings Limited, was successfully held at Beijing Enterprises Hongchuang Science and Technology Park. As a key representative of Beijing Enterprises' environmental protection sector, Beijing Enterprises Water Group (BEWG) actively participated in this grand event through the Eco-Environment Innovation Competition, thematic reports, and exhibitions of scientific and technological innovation achievements.
Yu Liguo, Senior Vice President of BEWG, stated that BEWG has continuously promoted the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. Guided by solving industry challenges, the group has launched the highly influential "BEWG Cup" Innovation Competition in China's eco-environmental field, deepening the integration of production, education, research, and application. Mao Jianhua, Vice President of BEWG and General Manager of Beishui Future Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a thematic report titled "Cultivating an Innovation Ecosystem to Build a Sustainable Science and Technology Innovation System," interpreting innovative practices in intelligent operation and maintenance as well as low-carbon governance. He pointed out that BEWG is promoting its business expansion from traditional public utilities to high-value-added sectors and achieving in-depth integration of technology and industry through five key initiatives: constructing an innovation ecosystem, advancing institutional and mechanism reforms, developing intelligent platforms and products, linking production-education-research resources, and expanding new business scenarios.
During the Culture Week, the semi-final evaluation of the "8th BEWG Cup China International Eco-Environment Innovation Competition" was held. A panel of experts from co-organizers, industry enterprises, and investment institutions conducted comprehensive evaluations of the semi-final innovation projects through "project roadshows + centralized reviews." They also provided professional guidance for high-quality projects, jointly exploring innovative forces in the eco-environmental protection field.
As a highly influential event in the industry, the Innovation Competition has been successfully held 8 times since its inception in 2018. It has attracted the participation of 2,221 universities nationwide, gathering 11,265 innovation projects, 59,256 students, and 16,083 instructors.
At the "Beijing Enterprises '14th Five-Year Plan' Scientific and Technological Achievement Tour Exhibition" area, BEWG showcased a series of innovative products and technologies integrating intelligent science and technology with environmental protection concepts:Prefabricated Honeycomb System、BEWG Speed Granule Technology、BEHAO Sludge Intelligent Granulation Equipment、BESUTO-Smart Eye (Intelligent Monitoring System)、BELEBC-Biological Intelligent Monitoring Equipment、"Beishui Shrimp Factory" Aquaculture Robot、"Beishui Little Fish" Digital Intelligent Education Product、"Kunpeng Intelligent Procurement" Environmental Protection Supply Chain Platform、"Smart City Steward" Operation and Management Service Platform，These exhibits fully demonstrated the group's leading exploration and continuous empowerment capabilities in the smart water sector.
This event not only served as a concentrated display of Beijing Enterprises' scientific and technological innovation achievements during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period but also consolidated the collaborative consensus among government, industry, academia, research institutions, and users.
